The Fleet Feet Racing Team looks to dominate on the the trails outside of the Huntsville area this weekend.

In
Mountain View, Arkansas, David Riddle will be running the
Sylamore 50km through the Ozark National Forest. The course record is held by
Fleet Feet Huntsville owner Dink Taylor, who ran 3:40:37 in 2000. He is up against some stellar talent, including Nick Lewis of Memphis, who ran 17:44 at Leadville 100 last year, but only registered a 4:29 at Sylamore last year. There is major prize money on the line if David can better the course record, so best wishes to him on his race.

In Moulton, Alabama, Eric Charette, Shane O'Neill, Rob Youngren and Kathy Youngren will be competing in the
Black Warrior 25km. The course is mostly single track trails over rolling terrain n the Bankhead National Forest. The trails are frequently used by horses and when combined with the wet weather in the area lately, the course will have some shoe-sucking mud for sure. James Falcon, Eric Schotz, DeWayne Satterfield and Christy Scott are running the 50km distance, which involves the Pine Torch Loop and the Key Mill Loop trails.
