Recent Results

Last weekend one of the newest members of Fleet Feet Racing, Kylie Lemon had a great time at the Race for Top Dog at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens.  On a tough course, she was 2nd overall and top female, running a stellar 18:51.




South of Moulton at the 8th Annual Black Warrior-Phillip Parker Memorial Trail Runs, Eric Charette, who owns the 5th fastest time in the 25km all time, finished 3rd overall in the 25km with a time of 1:52:33.  Kathy Youngren, who owns the 4th fastest time in the 25km all time, ran 2:35:58 this year.

DeWayne Satterfield, who owns the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 9th fastest times ever on the 50km course, finished 6th overall this year with a 4:28:56.

Eric Fritz and Eric Fritz worked the 17-mile aid station all day and were later joined by Kathy and Eric.

This weekend at the Mount Cheaha 50km, store owner Dink Taylor took the overall win in the race to the top of Alabama in a time of 4:44.  DeWayne Satterfield was 4th overall and Christy Scott finished in 6:15.





At the Disney Princess Half Marathon, Brad Schroeder ran 1:18:37 and was the first men's finisher.  All men were started in Coral C, which was behind 6,000 female runners so Brad had to weave his way though the pack which was probably crazy and exhilarating all at the same time!

Weekend Results

With the 2013 Season still in the early stages, there were just a few short distances races this weekend in North Alabama.



In Decatur at the Mardi Gras 5km, Tyrone Harris and Jim Clemens finished 3rd and 4th overall with Jim running 17:48, his fastest 5km since 2005.



The Relay for Life Sweetheart 5km was held in Arab, Alabama on Saturday with Tim Pitt helping to direct the race.  Eric Charette was first overall in a time of 18:20 and then helped with timing and awards.

Winter Winds 2 and 4 mile races on Sunday in Huntsville were cancelled due to weather.
