Erik Debolt continued his hot streak this weekend, setting a new personal best for 50k and putting him in the top 5 for fastest all time at Dizzy Fifties 50k. Tim Pitt was 2nd overall with a time of 4:30:59.

Eric Charette regained the title of Donut King at the Krispy Kreme Challenge in downtown Huntsville. Eric's splits were 12:08 (5:37 pace for 2.16 miles), 6:55 (0:35 for each of the 12 donuts), 10:53 (5:55 pace for 1.84 miles) for a total of 29:56. This time was still slower than the 28:53 course record that Eric owns from 2011. David Rawlings had a good donut eating split, locking in 4th place overall and Jill Hadley was the top female "duathlete" but almost 5 minutes!

George Heeschen posted the fastest marathon time this season for the Fleet Feet Racing Team and also lowered his personal best time at the Anthem Richmond Marathon. George was 14th overall with his 2:39:03!!!
At the 1st Annual Sharon Heights Baptist Church Run To The Son 10km in Birmingham, Alabama, Blake Thompson set the course standard with a time of 37:03, taking the overall win!

Weekend Results
This past weekend was the 25th annual running of the Huntsville Half Marathon. In near perfect conditions, the team posted some very times and quite a few personal bests!
On the men's side, Andrew Hodges and Erik Debolt posted podium-worthy times, finishing 2nd and 3rd overall. Robert Whitaker set a men's stage age record with his 1:26:47.
On the women's side. Jill Hadley and Julia Clark also finished 2nd and 3rd overal with times of 1:33:55 and 1:35:47.

Weekend Results
No wasting time...
In Central Alabama, a few hundred ultra runners made their way through the mountains in the Pinhoti 100-miler. Dana Overton was the standout of the day, finishing as 3rd overall female and 7th fastest female of all time in the 6 years this event has been held. Eric Firtz posted a great 21:45, which earned him a top 20 finish. Rob and Kathy Youngren, Blake Thompson and Christy Scott served as crew members.

In Indianapolis at the Monumental Marathon and Half Marathon, Brandon York made his debut for the 13.1 mile distance. In a race where the top 25 runners were under 1:10, Brandon scorched a 1:05:54 (5:01 pace!) and placed 8th overall.
In the full distance, Rick and Katie Maehlmann finished their 30th marathon and 24th state. Rick clocked a 3:29:11 and Katie ran 3:32:31.

In Priceville at the Book n It 10k/5k, Eric Charette was the overall winner of both races, with times of 36:18 and 18:09. Blake Thompson ran very well and notched 2nd overall in 36:39. Marty Clarke raced the 5km and was 2nd overall and top men's master in a time of 18:56.

In New York at the ING New York City Marathon, Jim Clemens posted an outstanding 2:49:27! Jim was 9th in his age group and 256th overall against a field that finished over 50,000 runners.
