Testing: For this round of testing, we asked a few of our Fleet Feet Racing Team members to give us their first impressions.  Here is what they had to say.

Tim Pitt

"I took two of the new Mango Orange Organic Energy Gels during my 26 mile trail run today. I really liked these!  They may be my favorite flavor from Honey Stinger.  They are not as viscous as the other gels on the market that I have tried, so it went down very easy.  I really liked the orange flavor too.  Honey Stinger has hit a home run with with one!"

Tim Pitt has been on the Fleet Feet Racing Team since 2011 and recently set a personal best in the marathon with a time of 2:54 in Birmingham at Mercedes Marathon.

Katie Maehlmann

"I tried the Honey Stinger Mango Orange today on my 12 mile run.  It was my first long run in over two months, so I knew I would need fuel at the halfway point.  I'm not a big mango fan, but the gel tasted more like mandarin orange to me.  It seemed really sweet, almost like an orange popsicle flavor.  I liked the flavor and the fact that there was no funny after taste.  I ran hills in the second half of my run, and I felt like the gel gave me the boost of energy I needed to really power up them!  I'll definitely use these gels again!"

Katie Maehlmann has been on the Fleet Feet Racing Team since 2004 and owns a personal best time in the marathon of 3:12 and has run a marathon in 24 states.

Eric Charette

"I am in the middle of marathon training and had a key 10-mile race today to test my fitness.  I fueled in advance with the Honey Stinger Cherry Cola Energy Chews, then carried a Mango Orange Gel with me during the race.  At mile 7 when I was starting to fade a little into the wind, I took the gel and within minutes I felt an amazing lift and was able to fight through the windy conditions to make my goal time.  I loved the Mango Orange flavor and it went down easy; without any water!"

Eric Charette has been on the Fleet Feet Racing Team since 2007 and owns personal best times of 2:43 and 1:15 in the marathon and half marathon.
