Candace Jacobs and Caitlin Morris both set state age records in both races! Candace ran 11:23 (11:57 old record) and 23:54 (25:54 old record) in the 2 & 4mile and Caitlin ran 11:54 (old record 12:17) and 25:07 (old record 26:10) in the 2 & 4 mile. Linda mentioned that many team members were out there at Grissom High School to volunteer, including Dink and Suzanne Taylor, Marty Clarke, David Purinton, Rick & Katie Maehlmann, Carl Smith and many others.

In Louisville Kentucky, Josh Kennedy confirmed that Lovin' the Hilsl 50km was indeed one of the most difficult 50km races in the Southeastern USA. He noted that it was either climbing or dropping the entire time and it was very muddy.
