Weekend Results

Impressive!  Impressive!  Impressive!  That accurately describes the running of the Nike Fleet Feet Racing Team of Huntsville this weekend.

David Riddle continues to dominate the ultra running world and this weekend was another victory, coming at Sylamore Trail 50km in Allison, Arkansas.  Not only did David repeat as winner, but he broke the 11 year old course record held by Fleet Feet Huntsville owner Dink Taylor with a time of 3:31:30, bettering the CR by 9 minutes and 7 seconds.

Near Moulton, Alabama, Eric Charette was the overall winner of the 25km distance at the Phillip Parker Memorial Black WarriorTrail runs in a time of 1:43:56 which was the 3rd fastest time on the course in the 4th running of this distance.  Lisa and David Rawlings both turned in nice times in the 25km.

DeWayne Satterfield battled the unseasonably warm temperatures (mid 60's) of the morning to notch an impressive 2nd place in the 50km with a time of 4:10.  James Falcon ran 4:45 and notched a top 10 performance in the 50km as well.

Katie Maehlmann ran a personal best 3:18:05 in Myrtle Beach South Carolina at the flat and fast Myrtle Beach Marathon.

Lori Jandreau was the top overall winner (male or female) in her debut 50 miler at Iron Horse 50M in Florahome, Florida with a time of 7:26.
