Kathy Youngren turned in one of the most impressive feats of her running career this weekend in Greece at the 2010 Spartathlon.  Kathy ran 246 kilometers or 152.85 miles from Athens to Sparta in 33 hours 35 minutes and 6 seconds, placing 44th overall (of 351 starters), was the 5th place woman and the top American athlete.  Remembering back to 2009, Kathy finished Badwater 135 in 33 hours 49 minutes and 21 seconds; quite an impressive back-to-back summers for Kathy who may be the best female ultra runner ever to come out of the state of Alabama.
