The Nike Fleet Feet Racing Team of Huntsville showed very well this weekend across the country.
In the Mount Airy Forest near Cincinnati, Ohio, David Riddle ran 3:44 and shattered the course record (4:16) at Stone Steps 50km. Clearly David is in prime shape for JFK50 next month. Not to be outdone, Eric Schotz ran a great 5:04 and earned 4th place overall. Shown below are Eric and David.
At the Xterra Monte Sano 15km/5km in Huntsville, Rob Youngren finished 3rd overall with a a time of 1:14:04 on a very challenging course with three major climbs. Team mates Heather Day and Christy Scott ran 1 and 2 for the females with times of 1:28:28 and 1:33:56 respectively. Eric Charette handled co-race director duties along with Dirty Spokes and also was the overall winner of the 5km (3.25 miles) in a time of 18:50.
In Fayetteville, TN on Saturday, James Falcon was the overall winner at the Imagination Library 5km for his first win in "several decades" as he put it!
On Sunday in Washington, DC, many team members raced in the Army 10 Miler and were lead by Brad Schroeder in 56th place of 21,636 runners.
