2012 Fleet Feet Racing: Erik DeBolt

Name: Erik DeBolt
Date of Birth: November 27, 1982
City: Madison, Alabama

Brief Biography

I started running seriously in 2007 after running in the Liz Hurley 5k. I love running because of its simplicity and the challenges it provides. It is accessible to anyone, promotes good health, and it doesn't cost much to do. Also, with time and motivation anyone can become more competitive.

A fun fact others might not know

I can juggle, but have yet to try joggling (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joggling).

How have you been an ambassador to the sport of running?

I truly care about the activities I'm involved with and I carry this attitude into my running life. I enjoy sharing the benefits of running with others and encouraging people to work harder to perform better. I volunteer in local running events and try to support the Huntsville running community whenever possible.
