This was a nice weekend for the Nike Fleet Feet Racing Team.
Tim Pitt was the overall winner at the Stage Coach Dash 5K race in Arab, AL. The course included obstacles throughout and the last two miles was on a muddy rolling field. Obstacles were a stack of hay bales, tires, a high wall, tunnels of culvert pipes, and police cars. Tim noted that he fueled up before the race with a Honey Stinger Ginsting gel and celebrated with a Honey Stinger Protein Bar after wards. Tim also raved about the comfort of his new Swiftwick Pursuit Zero socks.
In Huntsville, Robert Whitaker was 7th overall and top men's master at the Wounded Warrior 5km in a time of 18:27, or pace of 5:57 minute miles.
